Release the Quackin! The TOI Duck Races are on!

Updated: Apr 16

The Oroville Initiative is once again preparing for the upcoming TOI Duck Race fundraiser! Advance tickets are on sale now at Umpqua Bank, P&D Pub, Hometown, Oroville Pharmacy and will be available at the opening day of the Oroville Farmer's Market (May 4th).

As one of the Oroville May Festival events, the TOI will release 1,000 colorful ducks on May 11, 2024 at 2pm from Henry Kniss Park to race down the Okanogan River to the finish line at Cherry Street Bridge. Winners will be awarded prizes donated by local businesses.

How it works!

TOI will be selling numbered tickets matched to each duck to raise funds. The first 30+ ducks across the finish line will win prizes. Winners do not need to be present. Tickets are $3 a duck, $5 for a pair or $20 for 10.

Funds raised from the Duck Race will help TOI implement projects big and small that improve our community. TOI is encouraging everyone to adopt a duck today!
