With the help of Oroville Streetscape, the grounds around the restrooms have been cleaned, the building has a new coat of paint, and Jerry Forney created new wood signs for the restroom doors. We're looking forward to additional improvements to make the park a better experience for all visitors. Please enjoy!

The TOI volunteers are prepping the little speedsters for the upcoming First Annual TOI Duck Race fund raising event as part of the Oroville May Festival. When the flag is dropped at Veteran's Memorial Park May 8th, these 600 colorful waddlers will "tumble, splash, bob, and slosh" down the Okanogan River toward the finish line at the Cherry Street Bridge. Prizes donated by local businesses will be given out.

You can be a part of the fun!

TOI will be selling numbered tickets matched to each duck to raise funds. Funds raised from the Duck Race will help TOI implement projects big and small that improve our community. Those looking to participate in the duck race for a chance to win can sponsor a duck for only a $3 donation to TOI, or a pair of ducks for only $5. You do not have to be present to win. Tickets can be purchased at a number of local businesses. Look for the "Duck Race Tickets Sold Here" sign in their window. TOI is encouraging everyone to adopt a duck today!
